With all of the sporty bangers in Tudor’s Black Bay collection, it would be easy to overlook the foundational pieces that served as the bedrock for Tudor when they made their return to the U.S. and U.K. in 2013. The debut of their flagship vintage diver showed off a burgundy bezel, dark brown dial and rose gold markers and hands. Not your typical "understated dive watch" aesthetic.

So when Tudor released the more stoic, black dial and blue bezel Black Bay 41, naturally hardcore dive watch fanatics flocked towards that particular model. It's popularity continues to this very day, hence the model remains rooted in the manufacture's current catalog.

This modern Black Bay 41, a Reference 79230B, features a robust 41mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, signed 'rose' screw-down crown and an anodized matte blue rotating timing bezel. The luminous black dial features highly legible markers and Tudor's signature 'snowflake' handset. 

Powered by a Tudor's self-winding Calibre MT5602 movement, this piece is equipped with a sturdy, multi-link bracelet with a signed flip-lock clasp. What's more, this piece comes with a complete kit including inner box, outer box, additional bracelet links and a dated warranty card.

In excellent condition, we simply cannot speak highly enough of this watch as an entry-level daily driver.
